Internet Marketing Trainer Offers Web-based Master Certification Curriculum

January 5th, 2010

Online Marketing Training provider announces web-based Master courses to kick off January 11th.

Scotts Valley, California (PRWeb) January 05, 2010 – Market Motive, an Internet Marketing Training and Certification provider, announces the January 11th launch of their online semester based Master curriculum.

Courses may be found at http://www.marketmotive.com/plans-certification-master.php

Endorsed by Search Engine Strategies, the Digital Marketing Association, and Rasmussen College, Market Motive has been developing the Master curriculum for two years. The online marketing courses are offered in a variety of disciplines. During the 90-day semester students have access to streaming video, live webinars, a community site, and direct interaction and guidance from the faculty. The program culminates in a real-world final project, peer feedback from other students, and a faculty panel dissertation defense.

An all-star faculty provides training in SEO, Web Analytics, Social Media Marketing, Online PR, PPC Advertising, and Conversion Optimization.

Winter semester starts January 11th.

“Take the fundamental e-marketing books of our time and mix it in with the content that you get at the big 3 interactive marketing conferences, it still wouldn’t match the quality or value of this program,” said Mark Bietz, Marketing Director at Rasmussen College. “The difference is faculty interaction and their desire for students to learn the material. The cost of paying the entire Dream Team a consulting retainer for three months would be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, however, the type of experience you get is comparable, and at a fraction of the cost.”

“We’re passionate about teaching,” said Michael Stebbins, CEO of Market Motive. “We’ve learned that the combination of streaming video, webinars, the community site, and faculty guidance are the perfect way to get great curriculum into the hands of people from all over the world efficiently and affordably.”

Self-guided semester programs are also available. This marks a significant restructuring of Market Motive’s offerings, and does away with less structured courses and workshop memberships. Members already enrolled in the legacy programs will be grandfathered into the system, and retain their access.

Faculty Comprises Who’s Who Of Internet Marketing
Market Motive faculty is made up of bestselling authors and speakers, including Avinash Kaushik, Analytics Evangelist at Google and author of “Web Analytics 2,0”; Jennifer Laycock, Editor in Chief of Search Engine Guide and author of “The Small Business Guide to Search Engine Marketing”; Bryan Eisenberg, New York Times bestselling author of “Always Be Testing”; David Szetela, author of the soon to be released “Pay Per Click Search Engine Marketing an Hour a Day”; Stuntdubl’s Todd Malicoat, respected SEO authority and speaker; Matt Bailey, Founder of SiteLogic and recognized authority on search engine marketing; and Greg Jarboe and Jamie O’Donnell of SEO-PR, pioneers and leading authorities on online publicity and social media strategies.

Market Motive Congratulates its Latest Graduates

June 22nd, 2009

Market Motive announced today its latest list of Master Certification graduates, this time from the Spring 2009 semester of its Master Certification program.  Students completed their final task last week–the live faculty panel review–and received diplomas from what was an arduous 90 days of training, projects, and testing.

Enthusiastic as always, Scott Milrad, Director of Online Education, had some encouraging things to say about the recent class.  “It was another amazing, inspiring group of people.  I’m once again breaming with pride from all our graduates and the work they’ve done.  We do not give out diplomas easily;  these people worked very hard and display an exceptional level of knowledge to earn their endorsements.”

So what’s next?  For the recent graduates, it’s now all about assimilating what they learned in the program into their regular jobs.  “That’s generally the biggest challenge,” explains Milrad. “They have this new set of information;  now it’s time to put it into action.  Fortunately, our curriculum teaches real-world skills, so students come out with the ability to hit the ground running.  A lot of online marketing training is conceptual;  we strive to keep our training hands-on, so when students bring strategies back to their teams, they’re already familiar with ways they can implement the concepts into actual projects.”

And what’s next for Scott Milrad and the rest of Market Motive?  “You’d think I’d have a chance to relax now, wouldn’t you?” Scott says with a bit of an exhausted, yet energetic smile.  “But it’s right back at it for me.  We’ve got a whole new Master Certification class going through orientation as we speak.  There’s no resting on our laurels around here.”

Market Motive’s new class is, in fact, climbing that hill.  A whole new batch of students are gearing up for Master-class training.  And what’s more, Market Motive has added yet another discipline to its host of certification options.  Social Media training is now available as a curriculum option.  And from the looks of the syllabus, this is going to be another well-received program.  Stay tuned.

Market Motive Announces Certification Scholarships for Non Profits

June 2nd, 2009

Market Motive announced today its decision to once again offer one full scholarship to a non profit organization wishing to register for its upcoming Master Certification program beginning June 15.  This is the second straight semester the scholarship has been offered by Market Motive, showing that the scholarship program has met expectations.

Scott Milrad, Director of Online Education, explains the decision to continue the scholarship program.  “It’s simply one of the ways we choose to give back to the community.  We have an opportunity to help the people who help people.  It’s our pleasure to extend the offer.”

Through a series of online streaming training videos, assignments, testing, workshops, projects, and a final faculty panel evaluation, the 90-day program gives individuals, agencies, and companies a chance to ensconce themselves in the world of online marketing–coming out the other side with a comprehensive education in either SEO, Social Media, Web Analytics, or PPC from the top minds in the industry.  Full details of the Master Certification program can be found on the Market Motive website: http://www.marketmotive.com/plans-certification-master.php

If you work at a non profit and would like to apply for the scholarship, please email a brief overview of your company and your role to: scholarships@marketmotive.com

Additionally, as an alternative to the more formal Master program, Market Motive will also offer 10 scholarships to its self-paced Practitioner Certification. Practitioner certification requires similar streaming video training, self-paced assignments, and passing the extensive test.  The Practitioner program covers the same subjects, but lacks the 1:1 faculty and staff interaction and the requirement to turn in assignments or deliver a project in order to graduate.  Details here: http://www.marketmotive.com/plans-certification-practitioner.php

If you work at a non profit and you’re interested in the free Practitioner Certification course, please send a company outline and brief bio to: scholarships@marketmotive.com

We look forward to helping you better serve your community.

Master Certification Final Rapidly Approaching (and now accepting applications for next round in June)

May 22nd, 2009

Market Motive announced today the date for the rapidly-approaching Master Certification panel review–currently set for June 9, 2009.  At that time, SEO, PPC, and Web Analytics candidates will answer PhD dissertation defense-style questions from faculty, staff, fellow classmates, former students, and special industry guests on a variety of topics within each discipline.  In a slight variation on the last faculty panel event, each discipline will have its own dedicated time slot for faculty evaluation.   As Scott Milrad, Director of Online Education explains, “this will give candidates and faculty a greater opportunity for evaluation.  The feedback from last time was an enthusiastic request for more of the same.  The people ask…we listen. Now everyone can ask more questions and we can allow for more comprehensive responses.”

One thing is for sure, there will once again be no lack of talent from this group.  Early viewing of some of the projects show that the Market Motive Master Certification is clearly at the forefront of this type of hands-on training.  And the students seem to agree.  Chatter among the Master Certification Twiteratti has been nothing but exciting and enthusiastic.

@MargaretClark:  “Market Motive is such a great program. They really take care of their students. DEF rec to anyone interested in getting certified in SEO.” — June 2009 Master Certification candidate, SEO

@b_young: “I’m taking my SEO Master Certification now…an outstanding program!” — June 2009 Master Certification candidate, SEO
