If you're having trouble watching training videos check these three details.
- Are you logged in to Market Motive?
- Force reload the video
- Maybe you need to clear the browser cache.
1. Are you logged in?

If you're not logged in, you see boxes where you type your username and password |

If you are logged in you see your username and a 'logout' button. |
2. Force reload the video page/popup
The next item to check is whether force-reloading the video works. Most videos play within a popup window, so you need to first get this popup to the front of the set of windows (click into the black border around the video itself to make sure it's at the front). On the keyboard, type Ctrl-F5. This forces a complete page reload, which does more than click the 'reload' icon on the browser toolbar.
3. Clear the browser cache
Finally, it's possible a corrupted version of a video has been loaded and now sits in the browser cache. This can cause the video to always fail until the browser quits or the cache is cleared. A quick solution is clearing the browser cache:
|
|
Select 'internet option' from the 'Tools' menu |
|
|
Click the 'Delete...' button in the 'Browsing History' section. You'll get a chance to specify what to delete in the next window. |

Make sure only 'Temporary Internet Files' is checked when you click 'Delete' |
|
|
Click the 'Options' menu within 'Tools' |

The cache in Firefox is pretty small, so consider increasing it to 200Mb or more. Then click 'Clear Now' and then 'OK' |
