Historically Google's little green bar for showing keyword search volume has been wildly inaccurate. Recently, however, inside the AdWords Keyword Traffic Estimator Tool Google has added real numbers (you know, those things with digits and commas). With a little testing Mark Evans of Ionic Media was able to determine that, unlike the green bars of the past, this new data is pretty accurate.
