We’re proud to announce our Digital Marketing Team of the Year for 2013: Gannett’s Asbury Park Press.
With 100+ awesome teams, it took us a few weeks to wade through the 2013 results. But we’re proud to recognize Asbury Park Press for setting themselves apart with a whopping 248 certifications between 108 team members since starting their training in June, 2013.
As the newspaper industry migrates into the digital frontier, Gannett, the parent company, took the initiative in 2013 to meet the challenge head-on by putting many of its subsidiary companies through digital training. Asbury Park Press’ team took particular advantage of the opportunity, set deadlines and goals for themselves, and exceeded expectations.
The award is based on a number of criteria, including the percentage of the training team who became certified, the ratio of certifications to team members, and the efficiency of training.
With an extreme majority of the team eligible for OMCP® certification – most in two or more disciplines – Asbury Park Press leads Gannett’s charge into the new arena. Market Motive proudly recognizes their accomplishment and investment in team development, and looks forward to where their newfound digital prowess will take them!
